Abigail English

Abby was born and raised in State College, Pennsylvania. She first became interested in storytelling and narratives through her high school’s journalism program. However, when she began her degree in advertising/public relations at Penn State University, she quickly realized she wanted to focus her future career on using the psychology of advertising to enact positive change. Thus, Abby began an internship with 215 People’s Alliance and, before graduating, accepted a part-time position as their Social Media Coordinator. Since graduating with a B.A. in Advertising/Public Relations and a minor in Spanish, Abby has moved to Philadelphia and continued to grow relationships within social movement networks. She is deeply passionate about educating others about the power they possess and helping to build stronger, more empowered communities.
